Role description

Dog Handler Security Officer

Zambia — assignment dependent

Work with an assigned security dog as part of a professional site-protection team. Duties include following approved patrol routes, caring responsibly for the dog, maintaining accurate handovers, coordinating with site supervisors and reporting observations or incidents promptly. Applicants should be disciplined, physically fit for the assignment, calm around people and committed to animal welfare and safe working procedures.

Minimum requirements

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • National Registration Card (NRC).
  • Application letter stating the position applied for.
  • Security experience is an advantage; relevant experience should be described in the application.
