Client testimonials

We’ve had Third Open Eye handling our plant security for just over two years now, and honestly the difference is night and day. Our site sits close to the main Lusaka–Livingstone road, and theft used to be a weekly headache. Since they took over, incidents have dropped dramatically. Their team actually patrols, not just sits at the gate on their phones. Very professional.

Our residents are very particular, and honestly so are we when it comes to who we let represent the building here in Lusaka. Third Open Eye’s guards are always well presented, polite, and they know the residents by name. Several tenants have told me they feel much safer coming home late at night. That’s exactly what we wanted.

We’re out near Livingstone, fairly close to the Botswana and Zimbabwe borders, so security was always a worry, especially at night. Third Open Eye put together a proper plan for us — patrols, gate control, coordination with the local police — the works. Our guests have even commented on how alert and friendly the security staff are. Good people.

What I appreciate most is their response time. We had a break-in attempt last year at one of our yards and their team was on site within minutes, coordinated everything with the Zambia Police Service, and handled it calmly. They also review their procedures with us regularly instead of just doing the same old thing. Worth every kwacha.

Running a hotel means security has to be strong but invisible — guests shouldn’t feel like they’re in a fortress. Third Open Eye gets that balance perfectly. Their staff are firm when needed but warm with our guests, whether they’re locals or visitors crossing in from neighboring countries. We’ve had zero major incidents since switching to them.

As a manufacturing business, we have expensive materials moving in and out all day, including shipments heading to the border. Third Open Eye set up a proper check-in/check-out system for our trucks and suppliers, and our inventory losses have basically disappeared. The supervisor even does surprise inspections at random hours. They take their work seriously.

We started as a small workshop and grew into a full showroom, and Third Open Eye grew with us. They adjusted their coverage as we expanded without us even having to chase them. The guards are trustworthy — we’ve never had a single issue with theft from staff or stock. It feels like having family watch over the place.

You’d think an insurance company would be picky about security contractors, and you’d be right. We vetted several firms before choosing Third Open Eye. Their documentation is thorough, their guards are vetted and trained properly, and their monthly reports are actually useful — not just paperwork to tick a box. Very solid operation, and ZDA compliant on all their paperwork.

We operate overnight shifts, so our bakery needs round-the-clock protection. Third Open Eye’s night team is always alert — you can tell they’re not just there for the paycheck. One of their guards actually noticed a gas smell early one morning and reported it before it became a real problem. That’s the kind of attention you can’t train into everyone.
