Dog & Handler Security Services in Zambia

A coordinated security presence for your premises.

Dog and handler security services for sites that require an additional security presence. TOESS discusses the property layout, public access and operating routine before agreeing a suitable assignment.

Every site has its own working hours, access requirements and priorities. Tell us about your premises so we can discuss an appropriate arrangement and confirm service availability.

Planning your service

Requirements to bring to your consultation

  • Site suitability and deployment assessment
  • Handler responsibilities and supervision
  • Patrol boundaries and access coordination
  • Reporting, welfare and shift arrangements

Assess whether the site is suitable

A dog and handler assignment starts with the environment in which the team will work. Identify staff routes, delivery areas, visitors and any spaces shared with the public. Explain normal working hours and activities that change between shifts. TOESS can then discuss where this service may fit within the wider security plan and what separation or coordination is required.

Agree boundaries and responsibilities

Define the permitted working areas, the handler’s duties and who may issue instructions. Dog and handler services should be coordinated with guarding staff and the site manager rather than treated as a standalone replacement for access procedures. Clarify arrangements for visitors, contractors and unplanned activity before deployment. Personnel, equipment and assignment availability are confirmed in the quotation.

Plan supervision and welfare

Discuss rest arrangements, suitable facilities and the practical needs of the dog and handler during the proposed shift. Identify the supervisor responsible for reviewing the assignment and the contact who will receive observations or concerns. A written handover should describe outstanding matters and changes to the premises so the next team works from current instructions.

Prepare your enquiry

Share your town, type of property, operating hours and the reason you are considering a dog and handler service. Mention whether the premises are occupied while protection is required. Detailed patrol information and sensitive site plans can be discussed directly with TOESS during the assessment. The final scope should explain coverage, supervision and the client’s responsibilities.

From enquiry to deployment

Consultation → site assessment → agreed security plan → deployment → supervision → reporting and review.
